Tommy Scarantino is a retired federal corrections executive with over 30 years of experience in the Federal Bureau of Prisons. He served as Complex Warden of FCC Butner, one of the largest and most complex federal correctional facilities in the country, where he oversaw thousands of inmates, a large staff, and a $150 million a year operating budget. Throughout his career, he held senior leadership roles at both the institutional and national levels, shaping policy, managing high-risk operations, and working closely with law enforcement, government leaders, and even members of Congress. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with a concentration in criminal justice from North Carolina State University. Today, he continues to lend his expertise as a contractor, conducting inspections and advising on correctional operations across the country.
